"In the clouds not too far above your home, live the teeny tiny Kindness Elves who spend their days making special kindness potions. One day they discover they need the help of some very special children on a very important kindness mission!"
This beautiful hardback book tells the sweet story of where the Kindness Elves live, who they are and what they do all day. It explains how they first came to meet children and work together on acts of kindness as a team. Your kids will recognise them and their little house, instantly.
The Story of the Kindness Elves introduces children to the joy that showing daily acts of kindness can bring, in whimsical and magical ways. The book is a wonderful introduction to the Kindness Elves dolls and Accessories Kit.
Every page of the book is beautifully illustrated with hand-painted watercolours, by our friend Naomi Berry - and looks stunning!
We’ve spoken a lot about kindness since we received and read this book at home. My children have commented on things they/sibling has done which would impress the kindness elves so I know they’ve taken it on board. Great help for us to up the level of conscious kindness when it has waned slightly!
I initially bought the kindness elves as a way of encouraging my daughter to think of kindness and what it means (possibly to remind her someone is always watching)
What’s actually happened is these beautiful little elves arrived and she’s been making sure they’re looked after and considered.
What a beautiful thought and gift - superb!
The quality and thought that’s been given to this is wonderful. So useful for all ages and relatable.
The story and illustration is simply beautiful. My two daughters age 7 and 5 and my son age 3 were very taken with it and began talking about what they could do to show kindness. The reason for the 4 and not 5 starts is that in less than a day the two little elves both broke - their hands (very tiny pieces) came off (no they weren’t pulled about), upsetting the kids endlessly! So probably not for little ones!
A lovely book for my granddaughter's birthday in Switzerland. I bought it to go with the Kindness Elves Set. I loved it and I am sure she will too
Following the difficult year we have had I was looking for something different to elf on the shelf. The essence of it has gotten lost. I can’t across the kindness elves and I was hocked. This is such a great way to introduce kindness to children and will help bring back the true meaning of Christmas for our family.
