Excellent usable format with interesting and educational development activities.
These cards are even nicer than I expected. Beautifully packaged and presented. Jam packed with lots of ideas, they will make planning activities so much easier
Well worth it!
My son and I enjoy flicking through the ideas and choosing one to take out and try. I absolutely love the concept, presentation and quality of the flip book. It makes it a pleasure to use and I keep wanting to dip back in and use it.
I bought the Sensory Invitations to play cards. The illustrations are bright, colourful and they make you want to look through the entire selection of cards. They're a great size great for little hands to turn without them being fiddly held together by a nice big metal ring which can be opened if you wish to remove 1 or more cards to perhaps set up in different play spaces, a lovely bright colourful printed lanyard is attached but can be detached it also comes with a lovely printed drawstring fabric bag which is very well made and can be used to store the cards or maybe even some loose parts. There are 52 wipeable sensory invitation to play cards in this pack each one has an illustration of what you'll be making plus the name of it and on the reverse side you'll see the same illustration and name only smaller in the middle of the card a find section- this tells you what you'll need to make this particular invitation to play , a make section- which tells you how exactly to make the invitation to play and finally a play section which gives you some great tips on how to set up your invitation to play. Each card is wipeable and very sturdy I believe these cards could be very loved and used and last for years to come. I have so far only tried the chocolate playdough recipe and my 6 year olds loved this for them it was set out as an invitation to make the playdough they followed the make section with a little help reading and then took the play their own way from there. These cards are very handy to have if you ever find yourself stuck for a play idea have a look through these I'm sure if like me you're bound to have almost everything you need in your house already some of these play ideas take just a couple of minutes to set up and can give your child hours of play. There is also a section at the front of the card pack with tips on dealing with the mess that can come with sensory play, a materials list , translation guide i.e cornflour = cornstarch and a content card with each of the 52 recipes listed by number which is also great for the children to do a bit of number recognition or if the cards fall off the ring or are taken off the cards can be sorted quickly and correctly and at the back you'll find a trouble shooting section.
The quality of the cards are unreal! We have done a few activities already and they have been a hit with my 2 year old. You don’t need anything fancy most of the materials you have in your cupboard. Highly recommend especially for wet days to keep little ones entertained
